Rajiv Gandhi University has appointed Mr. Degam Ette, Teaching Assistant from the Department of Physical Education, as the Coach-cum-Team Manager for the RGU Men’s Volleyball team participating in the East Zone Inter-University Volleyball (Men) Tournament 2026-27. The tournament is scheduled from 27 October to 31 October 2026 and will be held at Adamas University, Kolkata.
Team and Venue
The RGU Volleyball squad, accompanied by Mr. Ette, will proceed to Adamas University, Kolkata on 24 October 2026 ahead of the tournament. The team comprises eleven players mainly from Rajiv Gandhi University and two from other institutions such as Arunachal Law Academy and Don Bosco College.

Post-Tournament Instructions and Allowances
The Coach-cum-Team Manager and players are directed to report back immediately to the university headquarters after completion of the tournament. Travel and dearness allowances for the coach and contingent will be paid as per applicable rules.
Administrative Notes
A movement order was issued on 23 October 2026 by the RGU Registrar, Dr. N. T. Rikam, outlining the responsibilities and information dissemination to various university officials, including the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Heads of Departments, and Principals of involved colleges.
