Kala-Utsav is a cultural youth festival that brings together the diverse tapestry of Indian art, music, dance, and drama. It serves as a platform for youth from universities and colleges across India to express, share, and celebrate culture and creativity.
Event Categories
- Dance (Nrityada): Classical, folk, and contemporary dance forms.
- Drama (Abhinaya): Performances exploring social themes, folklore, and modern narratives.
- Music (Sargam): Classical ragas, folk, and modern tunes.
- Literary Events (Abhivyakti): Debates, elocution, poetry, and more.

Registration and Participation
Each participating institution may register one team in each event category. Teams must carry an official forwarding letter from their university or institution and all participating students must present valid university or college ID cards for registration and verification.
The last date for registration has been extended to 30 September 2026, allowing institutions extra time to prepare and submit their entries.
