Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (MGAHV), Wardha, Maharashtra, has issued a notification regarding the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) for the academic session 2025-26. Following the decisions of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) meeting held on 13 October 2026, the university is inviting applications from its teachers under CAS for 2025-26 through an online support portal.
The application portal for eligible teachers will open from 2 November 2026. Teachers are required to submit their online applications through the designated portal and also submit related hard copies to their respective department or centre by 31 December 2026.
Eligibility and Process
Applicants must submit all necessary documents and certificates within the prescribed deadline. The department head or director will verify applications and documents and forward recommendations to the IQAC. IQAC will review applications and supporting documents and send them for further administrative action for approval.
A committee constituted under the Vice-Chancellor’s chairmanship will examine the applications and relevant documents for the CAS process. The committee will include university internal members and external experts nominated by the Vice-Chancellor along with administrative officials.
The IQAC will supervise the review and approval of CAS cases, ensuring compliance with UGC regulations and university statutes.

Teachers seeking CAS for previous sessions must also submit related PBAS applications along with the current CAS application as per IQAC guidance. IQAC will conclude review of previous session CAS applications by 25 October 2025.
Teachers should ensure their applications meet all eligibility and documentation requirements as prescribed.
