Assam University Diphu invites applications from eligible candidates for Guest Faculty positions on a purely temporary basis in the Department of Life Sciences and Bioinformatics for 2026. Interested candidates may appear for a walk-in interview scheduled on 20 November 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Department of Life Science & Bioinformatics, Assam University, Diphu Campus.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree with 55% marks or equivalent grade in a relevant, concerned, or allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Additional Requirements: Candidates must have cleared the UGC/CSIR NET or similar accredited tests like SLET/SET, or possess a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC regulations (2009/2016 and amendments) exempting them from NET/SLET/SET.
- Ph.D. from Foreign University: If Ph.D. is from a foreign university, it must be ranked among the top 500 by QS, THE, or ARWU rankings at any time.
Pay Scale
Rs. 1500 per lecture with a ceiling of Rs. 50,000 per month.
