Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, has issued an admission notice dated 4 November 2026 inviting willingness for participation in online counselling for admission to PG and PhD programmes for the academic session 2026-27 against Self-Financed Category (SFC) seats. This invitation is for waitlisted candidates who appeared for the CAU Entrance Test 2026 held on 15 September 2026 at the College of Post Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences, Umiam, Meghalaya.

- These seats will be filled against the Self-Financed Category.
- For SFC seats, the reservation policy is not applicable; selection will be strictly merit-based.
- Candidates must send a willingness e-mailed letter with: full name, rank in the merit list of CAU Entrance Test for PG & PhD held on 15 September 2026, and e-mail and mobile number to acadcau@gmail.com on or before 9 November 2026.
- Admission fee for 1st Year, 1st Semester PG & PhD programmes: Rs. 59,200 (PG) and Rs. 60,400 (PhD).
- Students admitted under Self-Financed Category will not be eligible for financial benefits like scholarships, fellowships, or other grants but will receive other facilities provided equally with regular candidates.
- Any additional vacancies arising will be filled at the discretion of the Selection Committee and with competent authority approval.
