The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, offers a prestigious MBA program but does not have dedicated on-campus hostels. Outstation first-year candidates admitted in 2027 can apply for limited seats in Delhi University’s postgraduate hostels, including VKRV Rao Hostel, Jubilee Hall, and D.S. Kothari Hostel for men, and University Women’s Hostels.

Due to restricted hostel capacity, approximately 70% of outstation students secure accommodation in private paying guest (PG) accommodations or shared flats in nearby North Campus areas such as Kamla Nagar, Hudson Lane, Vijay Nagar, Roop Nagar, and Old Gupta Colony.

DU Postgraduate Hostel Allotment

Hostel allotment is based strictly on the candidate’s final composite admission rank and CAT percentile, with about 60-70 seats available. Postgraduate hostels provide subsidized rent ranging from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 10,000 per month inclusive of mess facilities. Amenities are basic, without air conditioning, and the system includes security deposits and utility management.

  • Kamla Nagar and Roop Nagar: Close to FMS with premium co-living spaces and multi-cuisine restaurants. PG rents range from Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 24,000 monthly.
  • Hudson Lane and GTB Nagar: Accessible by Delhi Metro yellow line, known for shared apartments and student cafes.
  • Vijay Nagar and Old Gupta Colony: Economical shared 2 BHK and 3 BHK flats, with individual costs from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 14,000 monthly.
