Manipur University has announced that the open counselling for admission to the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) 1st semester originally scheduled for 20 October 2026 has been rescheduled. This decision was taken due to prevailing law and order situation in the state.
The counselling session will now be held on Friday, 23 October 2026 at 11:30 AM. Candidates who applied for MLIS admission in response to the university’s earlier notice are instructed to report to the Department of Library and Information Science office with all original relevant documents for necessary verification.
After the counselling, candidates will be shortlisted against vacant seats for admission to the programme.
