The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced a new 24×7 toll-free helpline, 1800-180-4747, to assist exam aspirants with general queries. This service is currently being trialled to provide round-the-clock support.
In addition, NTA launched a help desk operating daily from 8 am to 10 pm reachable at 011-69227700. Candidates are warned that official helpline numbers never ask for passwords or OTPs to ensure their security.

JEE Main 2027 Registration Details
Registration for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 started on 24 October and will remain open until 22 November. The exam is scheduled for 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28 January. Candidates can apply on the official website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in.

As of 21 October, 2.19 lakh candidates registered for the UGC-NET and CSIR-UGC NET exams, with 1,86,301 for UGC-NET and 32,660 for CSIR-UGC NET.
The UGC-NET exam will be conducted from 14 to 19 December, with applications accepted until 11:50 pm on 28 October. This exam is for candidates aiming for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professorship, and PhD admissions.
The CSIR-UGC NET exam is scheduled on 19, 22, and 27 December. Application submission closes on 5 November at 11:50 pm. This exam is for candidates seeking JRF, Assistant Professorship, and PhD admission in science and technology disciplines.
NTA has also announced merging the Biotechnology examination with the Life Sciences examination under CSIR-UGC NET.
