Central Sanskrit University, Shri BharatiTirtha Shastra Samutkarsha Kendram, Shri Rajiv Gandhi Campus, Sringeri (Karnataka) will conduct a walk-in interview for engagement of Part Time Teachers in various subjects for the odd semester of the academic session 2026-27 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Candidates with prescribed qualifications and fulfilling eligibility criteria may apply and appear in the offline interview.
Eligibility
Acharya/M.A. (Sanskrit) or equivalent degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
For Multi-Disciplinary Studies, Master’s Degree in IKS or Sanskrit allied Shastras is required.
Cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC/CSIR or awarded Ph.D. as per UGC regulations, with exemption conditions for Ph.D. registered candidates before 11 July 2009.
Ability to teach through Sanskrit medium.
MSc/PG Diploma in Yoga is desirable for Part Time Yoga Instructor, with preference for NET/SET/Ph.D. holders.
Vacancies and Remuneration
Nyaya - 1 post, Rs. 1000 per lecture with a maximum of Rs. 40,000 per month.
Physical Education & Sports - 1 post, Rs. 1000 per lecture with a maximum of Rs. 40,000 per month.
Part-Time Yoga Instructor - 1 post, Rs. 1000 per lecture with a maximum of Rs. 30,000 per month.
Selection will be made strictly based on performance in the interview conducted by the duly constituted selection committee. Mere appearance does not confer any right for engagement.
How to Apply
Report for the walk-in interview one hour before the scheduled time with original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.
Fill the prescribed application form available at the registration counter on the interview date and submit it at the time of registration.
Bring the following documents: proof of date of birth, educational certificates and mark sheets, NET/SET/Ph.D. certificates (if applicable), experience certificates (if any), category certificates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD) if applicable, valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Voter ID/Driving License), one recent passport-size photograph, and any other supporting documents.
Additional Instructions
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
The university reserves the right to increase, decrease, or not fill the advertised positions without assigning any reason.
The engagement is purely temporary and will automatically cease at the end of the odd semester of 2026-27 or earlier as per university orders.
The part-time teacher service may transfer to other CSU campuses based on teaching exigencies.
Candidates must submit an undertaking not to indulge in any illegal or subversive activities and abide by university rules.
