Dr. Hari Singh Gour University (DHSGU) has announced the guidelines for the refund of admission fees for the academic year 2026-27, following the University Grants Commission (UGC) notification issued in October 2018. These guidelines specify the refund percentages based on the timing of a student’s withdrawal from a programme and set out mandatory steps for applying for a refund.
Key Dates and Refund Percentages
The refund policy depends on when the withdrawal notice is served to the university:
- Full refund of fees for cancellations/migrations up to 30 September 2026.
- Refund with a deduction of up to Rs. 1,000 as processing fee for cancellations up to 31 October 2026.
- For admissions extending beyond 31 October 2026, the following applies:
| Time of Withdrawal Notice | Refund Percentage of Aggregate Fees |
|---|---|
| 15 days or more before the last date of admission | 100% |
| Less than 15 days before the last date of admission | 90% |
| 15 days or less after the last date of admission | 80% |
| More than 15 days but 30 days or less after the last date of admission | 50% |
| More than 30 days after the last date of admission | 0% |
