Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has invited applications from eligible faculty of multiple schools for Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) promotions as per UGC Regulations 2018 and amendments. Faculty from Schools of Languages, Linguistics & Indology, Arts & Social Sciences, Education & Training, Sciences, and Mass Communication & Journalism can apply through the SAMARTH Portal.

Eligibility

Promotion/upgradation under CAS is applicable for:

  • Assistant Professor from Academic Level 10 to Level 11
  • Assistant Professor (Senior Scale / Level 11) to Assistant Professor (Selection Grade/Level 12)
  • Assistant Professor (Selection Grade/Level 12) to Associate Professor (Level 13A)
  • Associate Professor (Level 13A) to Professor (Level 14)

Application Process

  1. Apply online only via SAMARTH portal; no offline applications are accepted.
  2. Submit 2 sets of hard copies of the online application with supporting documents, properly page numbered, self-attested, and spiral bound, to the Establishment & Recruitment Section I by 18 November.
  3. Ensure profile completion on SAMARTH portal (Biographical, Service, Experience & Academic details) before applying.
  4. Upload all relevant documents related to claim score such as research papers, books, doctoral guidance, research projects etc.

Additional Instructions

  • Incomplete applications or those lacking proper enclosures will be rejected.
  • Faculty members attached to other departments like CDOE, Physical Education, Library, etc. will have a separate CAS notification.
  • Applications for Schools of Technology, Commerce & Business Management will be notified later after AICTE regulations integration.
