The Central University of Jammu has announced recruitment for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Senior Research Fellow (SRF) post under the Indo-Swiss Joint Research Project titled “Ice nucleating particles and cloud condensation nuclei properties in the North-Western Himalayas (ICE-CRUNCH)”. This project is funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES).
Eligibility
Applicants must have an M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences or Atmospheric Sciences with at least 55% marks.
- For JRF: Candidates should have qualified the NET/GATE examination.
- For SRF: In addition to JRF qualifications, candidates must have two years of research experience. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in aerosol measurement techniques and data analysis using MATLAB, Python or similar software. For SRF, publishing at least one paper in a peer-reviewed SCI indexed journal in the relevant field is desirable.
Pay Scale
- JRF: Rs. 37,000 plus 8% HRA per month
- SRF: Rs. 42,000 plus 8% HRA per month
