The National Sports University, Imphal, a Central University under the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, invites applications for two temporary posts under the MYAS-funded project titled “Low Energy Availability and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs) among Indian Athletes: A Multi-Centric Study”. The project is led by Dr. Keren Harish Tiwari, Assistant Professor, Department of Sports Physiology and Nutrition. Applications must be submitted online along with a resume by 30 May 2025.
Eligibility
Junior Project Fellow (1 post): Post Graduate degree in Sports Nutrition or Biochemistry. Previous experience with sportspersons is desirable. Age up to 30 years on date of written test/interview.
Project Lab Technician (1 post): Essential: High school or equivalent plus two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or bachelors degree in medical laboratory technology with experience in blood collection and sample preservation. Desirable: At least one year experience in research/field work after high school. Age up to 30 years on date of written test/interview.
Pay Scale
Junior Project Fellow: Rs. 31,000 per month + HRA
Project Lab Technician: Rs. 20,000 per month + HRA
Applications will be screened and shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview or skill assessment. Interviews will be held both online and offline. Eligible candidates selecting offline interview must make their own arrangements to attend at National Sports University, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal, Manipur.
