The Department of Microbiology, School of Life Sciences, Sikkim University invites applications for 2 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) posts under a Government of India DBT-funded project titled “Technological innovations for development of functional foods from ethic fermented foods of the Indian Himalayas - BT/NER/95/SP47965/2022” led by Dr. Nagendra Thakur, Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology. The appointment is temporary for 5 months. The duration of the project is 8 months.
Eligibility
Essential qualification is a Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences or Agriculture Sciences from a UGC recognised university. MSc Microbiology is a desirable qualification.
Pay Scale
Monthly emolument is Rs. 42,000 plus HRA at 8%.
