MANUU Students and Faculty
MANUU had 3,689 students in its own UG and PG programmes in 2024-25, and 656 PhD scholars. 46% of the UG and PG students are women. 81% come from outside Telangana, including 15 from other countries. Students of affiliated or constituent colleges that report separately are not included.

Reserved categories and fee waivers
1,522 students are from SC, ST or OBC categories and 1,841 are economically backward (91% of all UG and PG students together). Of these 3,363 students, 256 had their full tuition fee paid by the central or state government, 1,559 by the university and 1,091 by private bodies.

PhD scholars
MANUU had 596 full-time and 60 part-time PhD scholars in 2024-25.
Faculty
MANUU's NIRF return lists 333 faculty members working at the university now, about 13 students per faculty member (counting PhD students). 98% of them hold a PhD. 25% are women. The median teacher has 13 years of experience.
